The Big Giant Quilted Bow is an oversized, reversible statement piece designed for holidays, parties, celebrations, and any occasion that calls for a little extra handmade drama. Quick to sew and endlessly customizable, the finished bow measures approximately 20" × 26".

Choose the construction style that suits your project: piece together colourful fabrics for a patchwork bow, feature a favourite print with the wholecloth version, or combine both techniques with the hybrid option. Make each side coordinate or give your bow two completely different looks.

Material requirements

• Patchwork: 1 total yard for Side A and 1 total yard for Side B
• Wholecloth: 1.5 yards for Side A and 1.5 yards for Side B
• Hybrid: 1 total yard for Side A and 1.5 yards for Side B
• Batting: 2 yards, or one medium/large full-size bag of Poly-Fil Extra-Loft

For the patchwork option, use multiple fabrics as desired. The yardage shown is the total amount needed for each side.

The sample bow is made with Lavender Fields by 3 Sisters for Moda Fabrics, but your fabric choices can make this project wonderfully modern, festive, soft, or completely your own.
