Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. If 30 days has gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange.

Refunds
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. You must contact us by email info@sewobsessed.ca with a return request and wait for us to authorize your return prior to sending any items back. You must pay any shipping costs incurred to send the item back to us. Once the item/items are received we will refund and cancel the item off of your original order and customer account.
Once the refund has been inspected and approved by Sew Obsessed, a refund will be issued right away and will be deposited back to your credit card or PayPal account within 5-10 business days.

Late or missing refunds: If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your account again then contact your credit card company or PayPal.  It may take some time before your refund is officially posted to your account.

If your return is accepted, we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Please do not send your item back to the manufacturer.

Several types of goods are exempt from  being returned.  Paper and digital patterns, embroidery designs, books, gift cards, and subscriptions are all non refundable items.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Damaged or defective items will be exchanged as long as the item is still available.  If the item is no longer available in our system we will send you a like item, agreed upon by both parties, or we will issue a refund. Please contact us at info@sewobsessed.ca to begin the exchange process.


Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.
