5 Signs You Might Be Fabric Obsessed (No Shame Here 🧵)
Share
You told yourself you didn't need more fabric. And yet… here we are. If any of the following sound familiar, welcome. You're among friends.
1. You've reorganized your stash “just to look at it.”
Not to sew anything. Not to find anything specific. Just to touch it, admire it, and maybe rearrange it by colour. Again. It's called self-care.
2. You have a “maybe someday” pile that is definitely not getting smaller.
It started as a shelf. Now it has its own room. You have no regrets.
3. You can identify a fabric designer by their prints alone.
Someone pulls out a fat quarter and before they can say a word, you go “oh, that’s Art Gallery.” You’re basically a sommelier, but make it cotton.
4. You’ve justified a fabric purchase as “an investment.”
Limited edition. Discontinued colourway. You’d be losing money if you didn’t buy it. This is just good financial sense.
5. You’re already thinking about your next project before you’ve finished your current one.
The quilt on your frame is maybe 60% done. But that new bundle just dropped and honestly, it’s basically calling your name.
If you said “yes” to three or more of these… hi, we see you, we are you, and we think you’re wonderful. 🙌
